Blog #4

1. Social networking has changed affects language use because you dont have to be grammatically correct. People still know what you mean even if it makes no sense. Also social networking has created its own form of language with words lik brb (Be right back),lol (Laughing out loud), lmao(laughing my ass off) and

2.With the spread of the internet and other technologies I believe that the necessity of the English language is reduced. With words like lol,lmao brb and other the internet has in a way created its own language. A person no longer needs to know English when it comes to using the internet all they need to know is the language of the interent. Even outside of the internet we no longer use proper english instead we shorten everything to get our points across faster.
